Wyoming

Wyoming

Wyoming is such a wonderful place and where I was born. From Yellowstone to all the history behind it.

It was the 44th state t join the union in 1890. But it was the first state to let women vote. It is the 10th largest state. and it has the smallest populationin the states of 550,000 residents.

So my my home is on a ranch. This ranch is where I go on the weekends and grew up. Its in a valley and there is 6-7 other ranchers in it.It was originally homesteaded by my great great grandpa. He homesteaded 4-5 of the 6-7 ranchers. So it was very big. But some how we didn't keep it all. Anyways our ranch is over 15,000 thousand acres. We own 30 cattle. But the other 300 is Mr. Hisers. He has so many cows that he can't keep them all. We have a little portion. But no matter. My aunt and grandma has lots of horses.

Yellowstone was the first national and world park in the United States of America. On March 1, 1872 was when this great place was established. U.S. Grant granted it to be a park (Ha, see what i did there) And the main attraction is a Old faithful. It erupts every 91 minutes. Yellowstone contains over 300 geysers along with Old Faithful. And another 350 waterfalls. It seems that it couldn't be more fun. Well when i went there it was amazing. The scenery and all the wildlife. We saw two grizzly bears and that was cool.
